Juan Laporta's short visit in Israel

Our community in Israel got a glimpse of (hopefully) our next president in a short 24 hour business travel. It's definitely not his first visit, and probably won't be the last.

Obviously we asked about the elections, and he stayed politically correct saying he hasn't decided yet (but with a smile that says "You bet your ass I'm in"). Basically, he was the same humble person we used to know from his previous visits.

For those of you who don't know, I'm the leader of the FCB Penya in Israel, we have an enormous community here, and this fan club is the pride of jews, muslims and christian FCBarcelona fans here in israel.

Since I can't post pictures, here are some links to his visit:

Cheers.

Fantastic!

Thank you for sharing the news and introducing yourself to the community. We hope you enjoy your time here.

I personally think Laporta will announce his candidacy in the last moment and let silence do the talking. He's already been winning without lifting a finger and I think he'll take full advantage of that.

Hi @Shai_Pal thank you for sharing this information! That smile said it all smile I'm counting down the days until Bartomeu days finally come to an end! Hopefully Laporta can help us alleviate the deep hole Bartomeu/Ro$ell have caused us, the club, and our history.

I really look forward to hear the plans and promises of all the different potential candidates. Guess there are others as well who are ready to run. And for Laporta, hope he runs as well. And have to agree with Aagat. Best to wait as long as possible. As a candidate he is to much in the spotlight since lots of people still think he left the club in depts - even that was ruled off by the judge. Let's see - guess any of the candidates not affiliated with the current one will be better.
