There is an urgent meeting happening soon between Joan Laporta and Paul Pogba's manager to discuss his transfer to Barcelona.

I heard. It's said by Di Marzio so it must be true. And apparently Bartomeu is bringing Koke if he wins.

But I don't want the elections to be focused on transfers, that would be wrong. The main focus should be the campaigns, their ideas and their plans. Transfer rumors are there to attract more votes.

To be fair, it would be weird if none of the candidates haven't talked to Pogbas agent, I'm sure they've talked to other agents regarding other players as well. I don't think theres anything surprising about that.

Yes, of course they have talked. But what I don't like is them 'leaking' things, that doesn't impress me at all.

first of all there is no deal in place at the moment
Laporta seems like the closest to get Pogba
But I care more about his sponsor options and focus on La Masia than Pogba
Don't get me wrong I'm not a part of those cules who don't want Pogba and are waving the flag of La Masia instead
They were all a part of the clan who didn't want Neymar too.
Neymar is going to be a legend
He'll be 3/4th the player Messi is
Obviously nobody compares to the Footballing God
They've all shutup now
The neymar haters
And declining Pogba is just so stupid and beyond my comprehension

When Neymar came, his position was available.

Of course, Pogba is a great player. But do we need him? The position(s) he plays in are all taken.

My point is people thought Neymar is also not gonna be worth it when his quality was there for everyone to see
With certain players you just know they'll succeed
For eg. Rakitic played so well
Everyone thought we made a mistake by getting Suarez at the start of the season
Because they said we paid 80 mil for a 28 yr old

Question whether we need him or not ?
Yes we do
He's gonna be the best in Europe and we have an ageing player in Iniesta
He's going to be 32 this year if I'm not wrong
Plus Xavi has left
So that has left a huge void to fill
By the time Pogba comes Iniesta will be almost 33

You can't compare the Neymar case with Pogba. It's two completely different things.

Pogba would be great. But better than Don? No way. Don has the skill, vision and experience. Pogba is just more dynamic and physical. Iniesta can split a whole defence open in one dribble. Iniesta is maybe declining, but Pogba is still no where near Iniesta's level, even at 30+.

Pogba may be a good signing in the future, but Iniesta doesn't deserve to be binned at the moment.

For me, The Dream Scenario would be if Pogba somehow stays at juventus for 2 more years and come to Barca in summer of 2017... Obviously that's almost impossible with Pogba on every big club's wishList.
