He's crossing isn't a Picasso which you look at, admire and say, " what a great cross ".

Now that real madrid signed Danilo we absolutely need to renew this guy otherwise we are in deep mess.

Not required
We have Adriano and Bartra at RB for 4 months
His contract terms are just non negotiable
Barcelona want to give him a 1 year contract
But he wants one of 3 years
Which is unreasonable considering his age
He also wants to continue with the same salary
Which is again Impractical and Unreasonable
He's not the best RB in the League and shouldn't be paid like one
and certainly shouldn't be given a contract for the duration he asks, simply because we need a right back for 4 months in the coming season
Dani Alves needs to be out of the club
His performances have improved in recent months but thats no guarantee that he won't start crossing again like in the first half of this season
And Cules will be ranting about how bad he is

With Adriano...it's a gamble. He is injury prone.
Bartra is a CB, yes he can play as a RB, but his position is at Center Back.
Alves has earned tenure, and although I think 3 years is a lot, hopefully Barca & Alves can come to terms. A renewal for 2 years is more than enough. I still believe he has a lot in the tank, and will prove all the naysayers wrong!

A renewal of 1 year plus an option of another would be great
But he's not going to agree to that
as
1) When he leaves after a year he'll be 32-33
That's not gonna give him a new contract with the same wages elsewhere,
he doesn't want himself out of contract when he's 33 as he'll have less bargaining power with teams
offering him a contract
They'll offer him less wages and that's not going to be accepted by him.
